Bei anderen (vor allem europäischen) Rennen sind Campingplätze eine gute Alternative zu Hotels, vor allem an F1- oder MotoGP-Wochenenden. Die Campingplätze am Red Bull Ring in Österreich sind ein gutes Beispiel - viele von ihnen bieten einen mit Hotels vergleichbaren Service, einschließlich Mahlzeiten, und sogar in Bezug auf Sauberkeit und andere Dienstleistungen.
